Mesothelioma Cancer

Mesothelioma cancer is type of cancer which occurs usually in the mesothelial cells. As the name suggests the mesothelial cell present in the lining of some vital organs like lungs, heart and stomach get infected due to the disease.

This is a rarest of all the cancer but now its alarming growth in the countries like U.S.A is also not ignorable. People working in the construction companies and some of them who are in the profession like plumber, electricians, textile workers and shipyard works are in great danger as this cancer is usually occurs due to the excessive inhalation of asbestos and its dust particles.

Treatment of this disease can be done very easily if it is identified in the early stages but once the situation gets out of control then it is very difficult to escape from this. Mesothelioma patients normally dies within two or three years but it is only occurs if a person is continuously inhaling asbestos for 20 to 30 years this is the reason why the age of Mesothelioma cancer patients are usually lies between the age of 40 to 60 years.

The worst part of this disease is usually leads to tumors. Mesothelium tumors are of two types : benign and malignant. The later one which is called as Malignant Mesothelioma is the dangerous one and is responsible for the tumors.

Some of the most common symptoms of Mesothelioma are shortness of breath due to pleural effusion, weight loss, cough, pain in chest etc.
